About our program
Prepare for a new career path with Herzing College’s 12-month online Occupational Health and Safety program!

• Throughout our program, you will learn how to ensure the safety of workers in a wide range of industries, including factories, manufacturing plants, hospitals, restaurants, public facilities and more.
• Our program is approved by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP), making you eligible for the Canadian Registered Safety Technician and Canadian Registered Safety Professional certifications.
• You will study such key topics as hazard recognition, fire prevention, environmental issues, worker health and wellness, risk management, occupational hygiene, documenting and reporting and OHS training.
• An internship gives you hands-on experience as you apply your new skills in a real-world work environment.
