• Get the administrative, communication and legal research skills you need to assist immigration consultants and lawyers in immigration law firms, not-for-profit organizations, settlement agencies, immigration counselling services and more.
• You will get practical, hands-on training in Microsoft Office applications and study the fundamentals of administrative and immigration law, business communications, ethics, file management, and conflict resolution.
• You will also gain a strong foundational knowledge of immigration-related legal terminology, such as refugees and protected persons, permanent residence, Canadian citizenship, immigration and refugee board and family sponsorship.
• A 5-week internship gives you hands-on experience as you apply your new skills in a real-world work environment.
